Below is some info on some of the horses in CR Royale
Coppersin's pedigree

GAMAAR When one thinks of  the great Arabian horses of the past,  One horse in particular comes to mind.
"Gamaar"  This beautiful stallion made his mark on the Arabian breed in an elegant, graceful and beautiful way.
The story begins in the many great generations before the birth of "Gamaar".  One of the most famous Sons of
"Witez II"  was "Nitez" out of the well known mare "Nafa".  Daniel C Gainey purchased two great stallions  "Ferzon"
and "Nitez" as yearlings in 1953 and promoted them together until he sold "Nitez" in 1963.  "Nitez" was bred to
"Galena" before she was sold and the resulting foal was a beautiful black colt named "Niga".  Bob Powers the
manager of Gainey Arabian Ranch at the time was so impressed with "Niga" that he had Ed and Milt Strand of
Minnesota go see the colt and suggested they purchase him. When Niga was four years old Mr. Gainey bred 3
mares to him and in 1962 he leased him and bred another 8 mares to him, one of those mares being "Gay Rose"
the dam of "Gamaar".  Niga was sold in 1962 to Butler Arabians and then in 1967 he was sold back to The Strands.
And in 1969 the Strand Family moved to Iowa.  "Gay Rose" produced  4 notable foals before her untimely death at
the age of nine in 1966 among those foals were "Gamaar", "Galizon" 1969 US National Champion stallion, "Gay
Rouge" A Canadian top ten National Champion stallion, "Gai Gay Rose" a US National Top Ten  Stallion. Gay Rose
was Sired by the great "Ferzon"  who has a story all his own to tell, a great stallion in his own right.  He was most
prized by Daniel C Gainey, in fact when he sold "Nitez"  he was so impressed with "Ferzon" that he retained him.  In
1964 Bob Erdman decided to visit the Gainey Ranch in Minnesota, to see if he could find a nice stud colt to upgrade
his own Arabian horse stock.  He was shown the young stock at the Gainey Farm and was most impressed with a
fine, typey, bay colt named "Gamaar".  He encouraged the Trainer at the Gainey Farm to telephone Mr. Gainey and
ask for a price on the colt.   After the telephone conversation Mr.Gainey decided that as long as he had one colt
and one filly by his prized broodmare "Gay Rose" on the farm at one time he would sell the beautiful colt.  Mr. Bob
Erdman purchased "Gamaar" on the spot.  He lived with the Erdman's until they decided to retire and they offered
him for sale.  In 1970 Arden and Patricia Forehand purchased him and he stayed with them until his  death. During
his lifetime he produced some of the finest Arabian horses in the United States.  Gamaar son's and Daughters are
well known for their great beauty, and refinement which carries on for many generations.  He is also known for being
a great broodmare sire. His daughters are among the most prized broodmares in the country.

NIGA's influence on the breed is all the more remarkable considering he sired just 99 registered lifetime foals in his
26 year lifespan. Many stallions with hundreds of get have had far less overall importance than he. What is the
secret of his success? NIGA, like many of the breed's greats, was bred by a master breeder who understood both
conformation and genetics. Dan Gainey has been recognized for the horses he bred who have been National
Champions in both halter and performance. The "Gainey look" is recognized worldwide, and NIGA is a proud
standard bearer for it, though his heritage is somewhat different than that of the FERZON/AZRAFF cross horses
whose snowy white beauty has inspired so many people for many  years. NIGA is 3/4 Crabbet and 1/4 Polish. Like
the other Gainey horses, he is linebred to the great Polish sire SKOWRONEK. His sire , the coal black halter
champion NITEZ is out of the SKOWRONEK granddaughter NAFA. NITEZ was owned for some years by Gainey and
even beat FERZON in the show ring when both competed at the same show in stallion halter. He sired 6 National
winners in halter and performance. NITEZ was sired by the phenomenal * WITEZ II, one of the most influential
stallions ever imported from Poland. * WITEZ II nicked exceptionally well with NITEZ's dam NAFA and with her
daughter NAFALLA (who produced 4 National winners by him). NITEZ is a 3/4 brother to US Reserve National
Champion Stallion BOLERO ++ (sire of US National Champion Stallion ZARABO ++ and of US National Champion
Open Cutting XENOPHONN, the all time leading sire of Arabian cutting horses). NITEZ is also a 3/4 brother to US
Top Ten Stallion NATEZ, sire of National winners in halter and cutting including US National Champion Mare INDIAN
GENII. NITEZ's dam NAFA is out of NARASA, a full sister to the noted stock horse FARANA, also a famed broodmare
sire whose daughters include National Champion producer YATANA and BINT SAHARA, for many years the breed's
leading producer of champions.

NIGA's dam GALENA is pure Crabbet breeding. She had just three registered offspring, and NIGA is her only son.
Her daughters were champion producers and have had considerable influence of their own (US National Champion
Stallion ETERNETY, a sire of National Champions in halter and performance, is descended in tail female from the
GALENA daughter GAYGAL). GALENA is linebred to SKOWRONEK. Her sire, the National winner sire PHANTOM, is
an incest bred son of the SKOWRONEK daughter * RIFALA sired by her own son IMAGE (himself a National
Champion sire). * RIFALA's son * RAFFLES sired 45 producers of National winners and all of her registered foals
have National winners tracing to them. GALENA's dam BALENA also produced US Top Ten Mare AL-MARAH
WALTZING MATILDA and GARENE, sire of US National Champion Stallion PETIT JEAN. Like NAFA, BALENA was
sired by the great SKOWRONEK son * RASEYN, sire of US Top Ten Mare ANGYL (herself dam of US National
Champion Stallion BAY ABI ++ ) and of 21 producers of National winners including National Champion sires
FERSEYN (the double grandsire of FERZON ) and SUREYN (whose 19 National winning get include the first US
National Champion Stallion and Mare)

Ferzon  was purchased as a foal by Daniel Gainey and there his saga toward imortality began. Ferzon sired 251
registered progeny and is the grandparent of 7616 purebred Arabian Horses, among them many Champions.

Count Dorsaz  was a pure Crabbet stallion born in 1945 and imported the U.S. in 1958 by Bazy Tankersley of
Al-Marah Arabians. He sired one National Champion, Count Bazy. *Count Dorsaz was twice the winner of the
coveted Winston Churchill Award for the best riding horse of all breeds. He sired 185 registered foals before his
death at the ripe old age of 31. COUNT DORSAZ sired 15 National winners and is the only Crabbet stallion to sire
both a U.S. National Champion Stallion and a U.S. National Champion Park Horse. Twenty two *COUNT DORSAZ get
have produced National winners.

Serafix was an imported Arabian Stallion from the Crabbet Stud of England and hailed from an impressive
pedigree.  His sire was Raktha, a British Champion in 1948 and sire of numerous champions and National winner
producers.  *Serafix's dam was *Serafina, a highly regarded mare of the Crabbet Stud farm of the post-World War II
era.  Serafix was shown in 1954 at the Cow Palace and at Pomona, California, winning Reserve Champion at both
shows.  In 1955, shown by Bob Smith of the Kellogg breeding farm, *Serafix earned Grand Champion and Champion
Stallion at Pomona. In 1957 and 1958 *Serafix was only shown once each year and was pinned Champion Stallion
each time. He was never shown again. *Serafix became best known through his progeny. He sired more than 30
National winners. He had 271 registered progeny and was the grandfather of 4976 purebred Arabian Horses.
