Question: How long have you been breeding horses?

Answer: I was young when I started out "14 yrs old". My first foal was born May of 1994. He was out of my
Arabian/Welsh mare Miss Mindy Sue & by Ibn Merlin Ca. I got my first stallion Diamond D a Polish Arabian in 1996.
By 1996 I owned 1 purebred mare, my Arabian/Welsh mare and her 1994 colt & my stallion. Both the mares were in
foal for 1997. From there it grow. By the time I was 18, had 2 stallions and handle full of mares. Between
1997-1999 I had two foals a year. In 2000 I had 4 foals. Through the years since I have had between 2-6 foals a
year. In 2004 I decided to leave all mares open. I leased 1 mare out and foaled her out and raised her foal until
weaning time fall 2005. In fall of 2004 bought APHA mare in foal to an Arabian stallion. The foal sold with in hours of
birth and went to new home fall 2005. I was foal less after weaning time. Also my herd of horses went down huge. I
have bred for 2-4 foals a year since.

Question: How long have you been breeding each breed?

Answer: Well the Arabians since I was 14, more so once I had my own stallion. APHA horses since 2000 &
Pintabians I had my first foals in 2006, but my stallion I had at public stud starting 2004.

Question: Do you train your own horses or send them out?

Answer: Yes I do. I so enjoy working with the horses. I handle them from birth all the way up. Trix my first foal
taught me lots. He was first horse I had ever trained. As a foal I had him wearing bare back pad and grandparents
gave me pony bridle and bit, that just happened to fit him. So as weanling I had him doing lots of stuff, including
ground reining well wearing bare back pad. He has always been a joy to work with. To this day he is my main riding
horse. I pony, all my horses in training off him. I like to have my foals use to things at young age. By weaning I want
them leading and tying. In most cases my foals are leading, tying, bathing & loading into horse trailer by 3-4 months
old. As of 2008 I also have a training harness that I put on them so they get use to straps all around them.
If still around as yearling I teach them to get use to lots of change. Like being taken away from group raised with
and being put in with other horses or by selves. Also I have them ponying off ATV and Trix. In summer months I
have use not just of my pasture but neighbor's too. So they get put on neighbors for summer months to graze and
grow up. I visit them regularly, catch and groom them. If I have young horse still at 2-3 years I will get them use to
more things and if ready start them under saddle. In some cases I wait until 4-5 years, if I feel they still are growing
and maturing. No need to rush them. I have sent a couple of horses to out side trainer to get going under saddle if I
feel unsure of my self with training that horse to saddle. In those cases the horse being sent out were horse I
bought, not one I raised.

Question: What do you breed for in your foals?

Answer: Most may think colour since I do have coloured horses, well that is so not true. Mind/Temperament is #1
thing for me. Confirmation, being Athletic is another. Being beautiful to look at is always nice too. If coloured breed
then yes you hope for colour, but not end of world if not. I also want a good pedigree.

Question: Do you show?

Answer: No I do not. Never had the desire, rather be out in bush riding my horses. I do enjoy watching show
horses & rodeos, but again no desire to do it my self.

Question: Do any of your horses show?

Answer: Yes some people that have bought horses off me or bred to one of my stallions, show their horse. Young
ones in halter class until under saddle. Their owners do any thing from Jumping, Dressage, Show Hack, Western
Pleasure, Endurance.  My understanding most show in local shows only at this time. I do find most people just want
a nice pleasure mount.

Question: Do you offer buyers chance to come meet horse interested in or if buyers can not come see do you
offer DVD for them to watch?

Answer: Yes I do. Your welcome to come meet my horses and ask questions. If unable to then yes I will get DVD
put together and send you DVD of horse/horses your inquiring about. I do ask that if you decided not to purchase
then to please send DVD back. Windows Vista does not like my video cam or I would be able to send short email
video clips. Hope to have one that will work with Vista by Spring 2009.

Question: What about vet check can buyer have one done?

Answer: Yes of course buyers can have vet check done. It will be at their expense and they will have to call vet
clinic to arrange it to be done.  Also most cases we can take horse in to vet clinic for the check, but some times we
are unable to haul horse in for what ever reason, so you may have to arrange for vet to come to our place.
In truth I have only had two people ask for vet checks in all my years of breeding and both times horses past with
flying colours. When I sell a horse I like to be 100% truthful.

Question: Can you help with transport of horse buyer buys?

Answer: I can help you find a hauler yes. I may haul to some locations, but know that it will cost more then hauler.
To give you an idea on cost. To Calgary AB "4.5 hours 1 way" it would cost me in gas around $500.00 to go there and
come back home. Most haulers I suggest will do it at close to half that price. Also I have one hauler that has hauled
many times for my clients, so she is who I recommend first. I try to keep sale pages up to date with her
transportation dates.
